| The Daily Triplicate is published Tuesday through Saturday in Crescent City, California. Crescent city is at the end of Hwy. 199 on the coast. A very pleasant place to visit with great beaches for swimming, surfing and beach combing. And also virgin redwood forest. Some of the 1% of the original forest that is left after decades of reducing it to a pole farm. These forests are in danger because the logging around them degrades the whole system. |

Eureka California is my favorite city on the coast. About a two and a half hour drive from Selma. If you take the drive be sure to take the Prairie Creek side road and see one of the finest old growth Redwood forests left. |
